Spring

The bogie spring is the core elastic component of the railway freight car bogie suspension system, including primary and secondary springs, widely applied to mainstream heavy-haul speed-increasing bogies such as K5 and K6 bogies. Installed between wheelsets and side frames, as well as side frames and car bodies, it bears all vertical loads of the car body and cargo, absorbs and buffers shocks and vibrations caused by track irregularities during operation, balances load distribution of each wheelset, restricts dynamic displacement of the vehicle, and guarantees running stability, curve passing performance and overall operation safety of freight cars.

Load Bearing & Stabilization: Sustain dead weight and cargo load of the car body, evenly distribute wheel-rail force to avoid unbalanced overload

Vibration & Shock Absorption: weaken track impact and body bump vibration, reduce fatigue loss of components

Dynamic Adaptation: Adapt to deformation and displacement during curve passing, slope running and bumpy conditions to improve running smoothness

Positioning & Stabilizing: Cooperate with bogie structure to restrict lateral and longitudinal shaking of the car body and suppress vehicle hunting motion.
